“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a LIVELY HOPE by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead…” 1 Peter 1:3

New Hope: Happy Easter, dear friends! May the unfailing love, extreme sacrifice, and victorious power that Jesus displayed on Good Friday and Resurrection Sunday renew us with awe and purpose.  As Verlin worked this week to find a vehicle, he shared new hope with a man who needs it. “The car sales agent is Muslim and is living the Romans 2 experience, but he wants to escape smoking. I prayed with him. He testified that he felt something in his heart/interior person every time we speak and I attempted to explain the mystery of Holy Spirit activity in a believer's life. He's interested. May he keep seeking the Lord and being drawn.”
New Name: The adoption is complete! Chelsea Lynn is officially an Anderson, and now we can be typical, proud grandparents and share pictures. On Wednesday, Debbie joined our son Cason and daughter-in-law Suzanne, along with over 20 other friends and family, for the joyous event. The love lavished on this precious girl is a constant reminder of Jesus’ sacrifice that allows us to be called sons and daughters of God.
New Wheels: This week Verlin made a verbal agreement to buy a five passenger 2015 Toyota pickup truck. It has about 2,500 miles on it and because of a damaged roof and bumper that can be repaired, the price is roughly $10,000 less than at a dealer. Pray that a problem in wiring funds from the States will be resolved.

Thank you for faithfully praying and giving to plant hope in Christ all over West Africa.
